Robert Louis Esposito is an American author and entrepreneur best known as the founder and owner of Relocator Service Inc., a comprehensive home transition company based in Hauppauge, New York.
Early Life and Education
Born and raised in Holbrook, Long Island, New York, Esposito comes from a family deeply rooted in public service and entrepreneurship. His father, Ralph Esposito, served as a New York City firefighter, while his mother, Denise LoSquadro, founded Sisters In Charge, one of Long Island’s pioneering estate sale companies. He has one younger brother.
Esposito earned a degree in Human Relations from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, New York—a multidisciplinary program focused on sociology and psychology. His family’s personal experience relocating his grandmother after a cancer diagnosis in the early 2000s significantly influenced his career path. That life-changing event sparked the founding of Sisters In Charge by his mother in 2002, which laid the groundwork for Esposito’s own future in estate transition services.
His middle name, Louis, pays tribute to his great-uncle Louis F. Simeone, a respected community activist in Corona, Queens. Simeone’s legacy lives on through his service in civic organizations such as the Lions Club and Community Board 4, and a park named in his honor.
Career and Business Growth
Esposito began his career in 2006 by helping clients of Sisters In Charge manage clean-outs after estate sales. Motivated by the growing need for full-service transition support, he launched Relocator Service Inc. in 2008, financing his first used box truck to get the business off the ground.
Over the years, Relocators has evolved into a multi-faceted operation offering estate sales, residential and commercial moving, junk removal, online auctions, clean-outs, storage, and restoration pack-outs. The company works closely with restoration companies and insurance providers to serve families and businesses navigating challenging life transitions.
In 2024, Esposito partnered with producer Mike Amoia, musician Dee Snider, and real estate professional Ronald Starrantino for a high-visibility media campaign that aired on News 12 and other local outlets. He has also appeared in regional TV commercials promoting the brand.
Leadership and Community Engagement
From 2016 to 2019, Esposito served as a regional director for Business Network International (BNI), where he conducted business development trainings and supported local entrepreneurs. Today, he continues to lead Relocators with a hands-on approach, managing operations while expanding the business nationally.
He frequently appears on podcasts and speaks to business groups, sharing his insights on entrepreneurship, business growth, and personal branding.
Published Works
In 2024, Esposito signed a five-book deal with Red Penguin Books. His debut title, Nobody Move (Without Reading This), was released in January 2025. The book examines the psychological and emotional impact of moving and provides practical guidance for homeowners, families, therapists, and real estate professionals. It is available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major retailers.
