Having grown up in Holbrook since 1975, it’s clear that this community has played a huge role in shaping who Rick Ammirati  is today. His roots run deep in the area, with his mom still living in the same house on Glenmere Way. Over the years, he’s witnessed firsthand how Holbrook has transformed and evolved. After graduating from Sachem High School in 1982, Rick attended Suffolk Community College before managing Friendly Drugs pharmacy from 1985 to 1995. In 1995, he took ownership of the pharmacy and ran it successfully until 2017, all while building strong and lasting connections with the community.

In 2019, Rick launched Prince Public Relations & Productions, where he also introduced Happenings Magazines for Holbrook, Holtsville, and Ronkonkoma. Through this publication, he has continued to serve and give back to the community he’s always loved. Since 2000, he has been the President of the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce, working tirelessly to help local businesses grow. He also serves as Vice President of the MacArthur Business Alliance and President of the Ronkonkoma LeTip Chapter.

In 2020, Rick co-founded Spheres of Influence, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to further contribute to the well-being of the community. Living in Port Jeff Station since 1998, he’s also been a co-host on Live From Studio 6B on Real America’s Voice Network for the past 5 years. Holbrook will always be home to Rick, and he is deeply grateful for the opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to him.
